Open this notebook as if you were getting into a taxi: are you leaving or are you running away? Maybe it's a comeback…in any case, what are you looking for?

Whatever it is, chances are a New York you will find it. Actually, just browse this one Staff Jo to take a bite out of the Big Apple.

This bustling metropolis full of contrasts is a huge film set: here everyone has everything and everything a story to tell. Between an Avenue and a Street probably hides the script of the next Hollywood blockbuster.

When by dint of looking at i skyscrapers your head will spin, lower your gaze and lose yourself in the variety of New York streets: shadows move very fast under the clock of the Central Station and the neons of Times Square they beat like artificial hearts; the city never sleeps, but you can rest a bit on the green carpet of Central Park, before returning to photographing graffiti and symbols of the pop art that peep out almost everywhere in the five districts.

In this Personal Jo you find a taste of New York, but each page of the notebook is an invitation to seek you out and to find your personal point of view on this world-city.

What color are you?

“Bring me the sunflower gone mad with light” wrote Montale.

Yellow is a bright color, capable of making days and thoughts shine. It is the tint of energetic and boisterous laughter, of happiness and good humor, but also of jealousy.

Yellow draws attention: New York taxis turned yellow when a man founded his own company and chose this color to distinguish his vehicles from all the others that crowded the streets of the Big Apple. This outsider was doubly smart: it seems that yellow reduces the probability of incurring road accidents. Curiously, in ancient Greece the "crazy" were forced to wear yellow to be recognized by all.

Yellow is energy and vitality and is associated with the search for the new, with change and breaking the mold.
