THE PHOTOGRAPHIC BOOK "CONEGLIANO - HISTORY, ART, AND LANDSCAPE AT THE GATES OF THE PROSECCO HILLS" HAS BEEN PRESENTED

A photographic book , a treasure chest containing the historical, artistic, cultural, and landscape treasures of the Municipality of Conegliano and our surrounding area. The meaningful and moving images that flow through the pages of the work tell a unique story of Conegliano, from medieval views and green hills to moments of daily life intertwined in the alleys of the historic center. Each shot is a fragment of memory and an invitation to discover the soul of an area rich in tradition and innovation.

Conegliano, a place where past and present dialogue harmoniously. These photographs, taken over a year to capture all the town's facets, take the reader on a sensory journey, capturing the scent of the vineyards, the golden light of sunsets over the UNESCO World Heritage hills, and the warmth and hospitality that has always distinguished Conegliano.

Present in front of a large audience were the Regional Councillor for Tourism Federico Caner , the Vice President of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Hills Heritage Association Vincenzo Sacchet , the Mayor of Conegliano Fabio Chies , the Municipal Councillor Claudia Bruigioni , the publisher Sime Books Giovanni Simeone and some of the professional photographers who filmed the municipality and Professor Isabella Gianelloni who took care of the introduction.

"It was a publication we cared a lot about," Mayor Chies added. "A year and a half of work in which we collected over a thousand photos, nearly two hundred of which will be included in this publication."

"This is a book that represents Conegliano," comments Councillor Caner, "in reality a strategic hub , even within the province of Treviso itself. They are very good at having published it in both Italian and English."
"The city extends 360 degrees, as you admire it from the top of the Castle," comments Isabella Giannelloni, "towards the hills and mountains to the north, but also along the east-west axis. The silhouette of the cathedral bell tower is also very evocative. "

Special thanks to the photographers for their valuable work: Olimpio Fantuz , Franco Cogoli , Giovanni Simeone , Corrado Piccoli , Colin Dutton , Giuseppe dall'Arche , Francesco Galifi and Arcangelo Piai.
